Mt Tsurugi Chairlift & Mountain Yoga

At the deepest end of the Iya Valley is the base of the legendary Mt Tsurugi, which at 1955m it is the 2nd highest mountain in western Japan. From out here, a chairlift goes most of the way up to about 1750m, and from this upper lift station area you can opt to have a dynamic yoga lesson with an awesome view down into the Iya Valley. 

Near the upper lift station are the flat grassy grounds of a panoramic camping area, and at here you can have your envigorating yoga lesson (weather permitting). You can even choose to hike all the way to the top of the mountain with your guide/teacher, and then do some breathtaking yoga from up there as well.

Please note that on rainy days it may be too cloudy and wet to enjoy, so we can make a final decision about going on the day of your tour.
